Prerequisites for Monitoring AWS hosts

Foglight for AWS Hosts uses AWS SDK for Java 2.x and is compatible with all supporting AWS services.

The agent may be run on a FglAM located either on an EC2 instance or off the AWS cloud as long as services are reachable and the IAM user has the necessary privileges. More information on configuration can be found in the Installing and Configuring Agents section of this document.
