Barman PostgreSQL Server Overview

Overview

This dashboard provides a detailed overview of the current Barman status for the selected PostgreSQL server, organized into four distinct tiles.

Tiles

  • PostgreSQL Server Status: Contains general information about the PostgreSQL server
  • Barman Server: Displays information of the Barman server that is backing up the PostgreSQL server
  • Check Status: This section contains a list of checks generated by running the barman check command, which verifies the connectivity, validity, and configuration of a PostgreSQL server being backed up by Barman. Some checks may display “n/a” depending on the configuration of the PostgreSQL server in Barman. The “Status History” column includes a sparkline that indicates when a specific check failed; clicking on this column expands the chart for a detailed view. Clicking on the check status (OK/FAILED) opens a pop-up displaying any available hints.
  • Backups: Contains vital information about the backup catalog for the given PostgreSQL server.
