Replication (MySQL version 8.4+)

The Replication dashboard provides information about MySQL native replication for multiple sources and/or replicas.

The top row shows information for the monitored server including binary log properties, the seconds behind source metric for all replication channels over time, and a count of currently running/total thread states for I/O and SQL threads for all replica channels.

The Replica Channels table(s) below are displayed based on whether monitoring for them has been enabled and whether any channels have been found, though they contain similar information on channel status, thread states, log positions, lag times, errors, etc. The “Replica Channels for this server” table shows all channels on this monitored MySQL server, i.e. channels replicating information to this server from another source. The “Replica Channels using this server as a source” table shows channels on other MySQL servers monitored by the FMS which are using this MySQL server as a source.

Replication (deprecated, MySQL version 8.0 and below only)

This deprecated Replication dashboard provides information about MySQL native replication for a simple source-replica setup. The data displayed varies based on the collections enabled in the agent properties. This dashboard will be shown if the monitored MySQL server is version 8.0 or older.

The left column displays Source and Replica details for the MySQL server monitored by the agent. The right column presents replica details for a separate replica server configured in the agent. The center column graphs key metrics that help identify when a replica server is lagging, which could reduce reliability or lead to replication failure.
